Richard Kraut is the Emeritus Charles and Emma Morrison Professor in the Humanities at Northwestern University and a specialist in ancient Greek philosophy.


Education and career
Richard Kraut got his M.S. from the University of Michigan, and his Ph.D. from Princeton University in 1969 under the supervision of . He joined the philosophy department at the University of Illinois, Chicago in 1969, and taught there until 1995, when he moved to Northwestern University.
